Welcome, Visitors!

We're glad that you have found

Milledge Avenue Baptist Church online!

We all yearn for a genuine community: a gathering of friends in which we know we are loved and that we belong. We want the confidence that faith provides and assurance that God is with us no matter what happens to us.

We believe that worship keeps Christ at the center of our church's life. That's why Jesus Christ is the focus of our worship, the standard of truth and goodness, the model for our relationships, the source of our unity, and the motivation to reach out to our neighbors and world.

If you're looking for a community of love and belonging and a place where your faith can be nurtured, we invite you to visit us for Sunday Morning Worship at 11am.

Helpful Information for Your First Visit

What time is the worship service?

We begin at 11am.

How long does worship last?

About one hour.

When is Sunday School/Small Groups and who is it for?

Sunday School/Small Groups begin at 10am. We offer several opportunities for adults and those small groups are located in the Education Building. Children K-5th grades can be dropped off at 9:45am on the 2nd floor of the Kinney Building (just upstairs from the nursery) and our youth, grades 6-12, meet in the youth room just off of the Fellowship Hall. Our nursery is open during this time with curriculum for children 2-4 years old.

How do I get there?

We are located at 1690 S. Milledge Avenue. Parking is located toward the back of our facilities just off Marion Drive.

Do you have a nursery for young children?

Our nursery is staffed with trained professionals and available for children four and younger. It is located just off of the sanctuary. Parents are provided with a pager in case they are needed.

Is children's church offered?

Yes! Children will begin worship with their parents until after the children's sermon. At this time, they will be dismissed and taken to our Children's Worship Room. Parents can pick up their child after worship.

Do you ask visitors to stand up?

Not at all. We do hope you will introduce yourself before or after the worship service and you'll have the opportunity to fill out a connection card letting us know you were there.

Is the sanctuary accessible?

Yes. We have several handicap parking spaces available. Once inside, you'll find several restrooms marked handicap accessible or handicap friendly. We just recently completed renovations to our chancel to make it handicap accessible.

Will MABC welcome me?

We welcome everyone, without exception. We believe in the love of God for all persons, and we believe that inclusion is central to the gospel call "to love." We are committed to providing equal access and participation in all facets of the life and ministry of our church without regard to ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, or gender expression.
